Our History
YPS Printing Services had its beginnings in 2010 having being previously the print department of
York Publishing Services Ltd, the York based publishing production company.
We originally operated from the premises in Layerthorpe, York, and continued specialising in short to medium run book printing and binding, particularly, perfect bound, saddle-stitched, coil bound and wiro-bound books.
Due to demand, we outgrew our original premises in Layerthorpe and in 2016 we relocated ourselves to the outskirts of York at Elvington Air Field, where we continue to give the same excellent service and quality to your print jobs but with lots of new machinery.
Chris Mercer is the third generation of his family to spend his working life in the print industry. You can be sure we don’t lack much in experience!
